Türkiye arrests 156 people on charges of links to FETO

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerli Kaya announced the implementation of a large-scale operation by the country’s security forces against the FETO organization.

According to him, these operations were carried out in major cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, and İzmir, as well as the provinces of Adana, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, and several other provinces, and 156 suspects accused of having ties to this organization were arrested.

These individuals are accused of operating within the structure of the FETÖ organization, contacting its leaders through public telephones, raising funds, and promoting the group’s programs on social media.

During the operation, a large amount of organizational documents and digital content related to the photo were discovered and seized.

Thanking the security forces, Yerli Kaya emphasized the Turkish government’s commitment to relentlessly fighting groups that threaten the national unity, territorial integrity, and peace of the country’s citizens.
