Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi has said that the United States has spent $11 billion of American taxpayer money on missile defense against the Zionist regime of Israel in the past three years.
Pointing out that the US has fired even more interceptor missiles to defend Israel than the regime itself, Araghchi wrote on X Network that this relationship is no longer based on mutual interests, but rather a one-sided and parasitic relationship.
Meanwhile, based on a report from the US Congressional Budget Office, prepared at the request of Congressman Brendan F. Boyle, a representative from Pennsylvania, the war against Iran has cost the United States nearly $40 billion by August 1, 2026.
According to estimates by the US Department of War, about $38 billion of these costs are related to the Pentagon and include items such as replacing spent ammunition and lost equipment, increasing military flight hours, and fuel costs.
