Trump flaunted Washington’s nuclear superiority with exaggerated claims about US military power

In an interview with Newsmax, US President Donald Trump made bold and grandiose statements about his country’s military power, claiming that the US nuclear power is greater than that of Russia and that China is in third place; claims that he did not support with independent evidence in this interview.

Trump also said that the United States would not use nuclear weapons against Iran and emphasized that the so-called “mother of all bombs” was not nuclear, but a conventional bomb with high destructive power. However, by describing the power of the United States’ weapons, he presented a picture of the country’s absolute military superiority, for which independent evidence and comparisons are necessary to assess it.

Meanwhile, the Sianan Network has reported that military options against Iran’s nuclear facilities have been reviewed in US military circles. However, reviewing a military option does not mean a final decision to implement it.

Trump’s statements about America’s nuclear superiority have been made in a decisive tone, while his claims alone are not sufficient to prove such superiority and must be weighed in light of reliable information and independent assessments.
