Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that the country’s domestically-made 7-FP tactical ballistic missile has been used in combat operations for the first time.
Zelensky released a video of the moment the missile was launched, expressing satisfaction with the results of the operation and announcing the start of the production process for the missile.
Ukrainian officials have not provided details about the location or target of the attack, and the successful use of the missile on the battlefield has not yet been independently confirmed.
According to information released by the manufacturer, the 7-FP is designed to attack targets at a distance of approximately 200 to 250 kilometers; however, the missile’s stated operational characteristics have not yet been independently verified.
