Yemeni sources report escalating clashes between Yemeni armed forces and Saudi-affiliated forces in several locations in Taiz province.
According to published reports, intense clashes are ongoing in the east of Taiz city and Al-Tarba city, the center of Al-Shamaytin district in the south of the province, and Yemeni armed forces are advancing on several axes.
Sources close to the Yemeni armed forces say that forces affiliated with Riyadh have retreated from the city of Al-Tarbah and operations to expand control in the area are continuing.
Sources affiliated with the opposing side had previously reported missile attacks and heavy clashes in various areas of Taiz.
Reports indicate that the city of Taiz is still divided between areas controlled by the Yemeni armed forces and Saudi-affiliated forces, and clashes are continuing in the western and southern axes of the city.
