Two years ago on this day, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the former Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, along with a number of senior commanders of Hezbollah and the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on Hezbollah’s underground command headquarters in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
According to published reports, the attack was carried out using dozens of heavy bunker-busting bombs and targeted Hezbollah’s command headquarters.
