Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on the sidelines of the 83rd session of the United Nations General Assembly on September 25.
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that during the meeting, the two sides emphasized their commitment to strengthening the special and privileged strategic partnership between Russia and India.
According to the declaration, the two countries also emphasized continuing close coordination within the UN, the G20, and the BRICS.
