British Prime Minister Andy Burnham, speaking at the United Nations General Assembly, said that the threats facing Israel do not justify the government’s actions in Gaza and the West Bank.
Referring to the humanitarian situation in Gaza, he said that the humanitarian aid arriving in the region is far less than the needs and that this crisis has continued for a long time.
Burnham also stressed that Britain stands with Israel against what he called ongoing threats against Israel and Jews around the world, including threats attributed to Iran.
