Local sources reported that Israeli forces targeted the western suburbs of Daraa in southern Syria with artillery attacks and gunfire this Monday morning (21th September).
According to these reports, three artillery shells were fired around the towns of Jumla and Abedin, and flares were also dropped over the Yarmouk Basin area; shots were also fired towards Wadi al-Raqqad and the surrounding agricultural lands.
These attacks took place after a military unit, including two tanks and two military vehicles, entered the Wadi al-Raqqad area; according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, there were no reports of arrests or clashes with residents in this incident.
Meanwhile, the border areas of Daraa and Quneitra continue to witness Israeli military movements and deployments.
