Maulvi Rahmatullah Makki, CEO of the Emirati Afghan Post Company, met with Mohammad Ahmadi, CEO of the Islamic Republic of Iran Post, on the sidelines of the 14th Congress of the Asia-Pacific Postal Union, and discussed the development of postal cooperation and the exchange of experiences.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in the e-commerce sector, air and land transit transfers, and the expansion of postal services.
Emphasis was also placed on improving the quality of postal services, exchanging experiences, and strengthening professional capacities.
A delegation from Afghan Post is scheduled to visit Iran in the near future at the official invitation of the country and discuss expanding joint cooperation with Iranian postal officials.
