US Senator Mark Kelly has said that Donald Trump is having trouble finding a way out of the conflict with Iran, and American citizens are paying the price for this crisis through rising prices for gasoline and food.
He said Trump faces limited options, from escalating the conflict and deploying ground troops to a complete withdrawal or increasing economic pressure and trying to rebuild the alliance with European allies.
Kelly called this crisis “Trump’s own creation” and said that the bombings, which he said in some cases led to the martyrdom of innocent Iranian children, are not a suitable solution.
This American senator considered the economic approach and rebuilding relations with allies to be better than escalating military measures and deploying ground forces.
