Fox News reported that US President Donald Trump, as he increased pressure on Iran to reach an agreement, claimed that the United States “has complete control of the areas around the Strait of Hormuz.”
Trump has also presented a critical picture of Iran’s economic situation, claiming that the country is facing a shortage of money, difficulty paying the salaries of its military and police forces, and 350 percent inflation.
He has said that Iran wants an agreement, but he believes it is not yet ready to accept a “right” agreement.
The US president added that Washington is prepared to wait and see what Tehran decides to do next.
