US Secretary of War Attacks Sayanan Over Army Missile Stockpile Report

US Secretary of War Pete Hegsett strongly criticized the media outlet in response to a report by the Cianan network about the consumption of a large portion of the country’s THAAD interceptor missile stockpile.

CNN claimed in a report that the US military had used up about 80 percent of its THAAD missile stockpile during the war with Iran.

Hegsett, posting a message on the social network X, called the report “incorrect” and wrote, “This headline is not true. Shame on you, CNN.”

The US Secretary of War also criticized what he called “fake news media,” but did not elaborate on the actual extent of THAAD missile use or provide details of the report’s denial.
