Kazakh media reported that the country’s grain and flour exports to Afghanistan have increased by 57 percent to 2.4 million tons in the past 11 months.
According to Kazinform, Kazakhstan exported a total of 13.9 million tons of grain and flour from September 2025 to July 2026, an increase of 12.6% compared to the same period last year.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan has announced that increased demand in traditional markets, especially Afghanistan and Central Asian countries, the development of transportation infrastructure, and the strengthening of trade cooperation have been the main factors behind the growth in exports.
Based on this report, Kazakhstan’s exports to Uzbekistan reached 5.8 million tons, to Kyrgyzstan 528,000 tons, to Afghanistan 2.4 million tons, and to Turkmenistan 220,000 tons.
