Chuck Schumer, the Democratic minority leader in the US Senate, criticized Donald Trump’s policies and announced that waging war against Iran has seriously endangered the security of American citizens.
Schumer said that as a result of these policies, hundreds of American soldiers have been injured and 18 others have been killed. He said that sharp price increases and cyberattacks against American water infrastructure are other consequences of this crisis.
The Senate Democratic leader called on the Republican Party to confront this “madness” and work with Democrats to end what he called a dangerous and unnecessary war.
