Pashinyan reappointed as Armenia’s Prime Minister after resigning

Armenian President Vahagan Khachaturian issued a decree re-appointing Nikol Pashinyan as the country’s Prime Minister.

The appointment followed the ceremonial resignation of the government on the first day of the new parliament’s inauguration, a move that is considered a standard procedure for forming a new cabinet under the Armenian constitution.

Pashinyan announced that government members will continue to perform their duties until a new cabinet is formed.
