25 killed in Algeria bus overturn
At least 25 people have been killed and 44 others injured after a passenger bus overturned in Boumerdes province, Algeria.
According to a Reuters report, Algeria’s civil protection department said the incident occurred on Friday and that rescue workers had transferred the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Algerian Prime Minister Saifi Ghraib also visited a number of those injured in the incident at a hospital in Boumerdes province.
Algerian authorities have not yet released details about the cause of the bus overturning, saying that investigations are ongoing.
