Saudi airstrikes on Hodeidah, Ansarullah warns of retaliation
According to reports, Saudi Arabian Air Force fighter jets have targeted areas in Yemen’s Hodeidah province, including facilities affiliated with the Telecommunications Organization in the city of Hodeidah and Kamran Island; published images also indicate fires in parts of this area.
In response to these attacks, Hizam al-Assad, a member of the Ansarullah movement, warned that there would be a “port for port and square for square” response, and that any escalation of tensions would be met with a more severe response.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has confirmed the attacks on Hodeidah province, but has claimed that it only targeted military centers affiliated with Ansarullah and that the port of Hodeidah was not attacked.
