Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced that it has carried out joint missile and drone operations against US military targets in response to recent US airstrikes on a number of Iranian regions.
According to a report by Iran’s Tasnim news agency, 85 US military installations were targeted in this operation, including the port of Salman, the country’s naval base in Bahrain, and the Ali al-Salem air base in Kuwait.
The IRGC also claimed to have shot down an American drone that attempted to interfere in the operation.
These attacks came after the United States announced that it had targeted a number of its coastal bases and facilities on the coasts of Hormozgan and Mahshahr in Iran with airstrikes.
