Pakistani cargo plane disappears over Arabian Sea, search operation continues
Pakistani authorities have announced that a Boeing 737 cargo plane belonging to K2 Airways with five passengers on board has disappeared from radar over the Arabian Sea while flying from Sharjah, UAE, to Karachi.
According to the Pakistan Airports Authority, the plane reported a problem with its navigation system before losing contact. Radar data also showed that the plane suddenly lost altitude and changed its flight path.
After the plane disappeared, the Search and Rescue Coordination Center was activated, and the Pakistani Navy and Air Force, in cooperation with relevant institutions, launched a massive operation to find it in the Arabian Sea.
Aviation experts have stated that the cause of the plane’s disappearance is still unknown and that investigations are ongoing.
