Discussion on the TAPI project and expanding economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan in Herat

Noor Ahmad, the deputy governor of Herat, met with Baganj Abdullahiyov, head of the TAPI project in Afghanistan and deputy consul of Turkmenistan in Herat, to discuss the implementation process of the TAPI project and the development of economic cooperation between the two countries.

In this meeting, attended by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Herat, both sides emphasized accelerating the implementation of the TAPI project and strengthening economic relations.

The Governor of Herat also proposed establishing a joint Afghan-Turkmen exhibition in Turgandi and Sarhadabad, which was welcomed by the Turkmen side.

In the end, both sides emphasized the continuation of cooperation and the expansion of economic relations between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.
