Medvedev responds to Poland’s move: We can take back the Polish presidential palace

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, made harsh statements against the Polish government in response to Poland’s move to seize the Russian consulate building in the city of Gdansk.

Medvedev claimed that Russia could “take back the Polish presidential palace because, according to him, the building was built with Russian capital and money.”

He also criticized Polish officials, stating that it was useless to talk to Poles about the immunity of diplomatic property, and used harsh language against the Warsaw government.

These statements come as tensions between Russia and Poland continue to rise following the war in Ukraine and diplomatic disputes between the two countries.
