The death toll from two powerful earthquakes that struck Venezuela on Wednesday and caused widespread damage has risen to 920, with more than 3,000 people injured as search and rescue operations continue.
Images released from the affected areas show the vast extent of the devastation and destruction of buildings and infrastructure before and after the earthquake.
Meanwhile, the United Nations has announced that the number of people missing in this disaster has reached more than 50,000, and the search operation to find survivors is still ongoing.
