OCHA:Switzerland donates $1.95 million to Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced that Switzerland has contributed 1.95 million US dollars, equivalent to 1.5 million Swiss francs, to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.
OCHA issued a press release on Thursday (26/07/2021) saying that this assistance has been allocated to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund and will be used to support vulnerable and needy people in the country.
The organization, while appreciating Switzerland’s support, emphasized that humanitarian aid restores hope to people whose lives have been damaged by crises and sudden shocks.
Ocha also added: “We” invest in humanity together.
