Baghaei:The Iran-US Memorandum of Understanding has been signed in both Persian and English

Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced that the text of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States was signed in both Persian and English. He emphasized that Tehran’s insistence on preparing the text in both languages was aimed at preventing arbitrary interpretations and translations, and that Iran considers the Persian text to be completely authentic and consistent with the English version.

He also referred to Iran’s regional position and said that the country’s power is not just a slogan, claiming that Iran has achieved success in confronting two nuclear powers.

At the same time, the Axios news website reported, citing American officials, that Tehran and Washington have signed an agreement to end the war electronically, and this agreement is now considered effective and enforceable.

Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Baghaei also said that this strategic port is related to Iran and Oman because these two countries are the only ones located on the coasts of the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, the obligations related to this strait have entered the implementation stage after the finalization of the memorandum of understanding.

In another part of his speech, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman stated that the signing of the memorandum of understanding was done electronically by the presidents of the two countries, and this document has now been formalized and entered the implementation stage.
