The Islamic Republic of Iran’s military announced that it had carried out a wave of drone attacks against American bases and radar systems of the US Fifth Fleet in response to what it called hostile US actions.
The Iranian Army Public Relations Department said in a statement that the operation was carried out this morning in response to the “evil deeds and harassment of the US army against the southern regions of Iran.”
According to this statement, American bases and radar systems of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain were targeted in these attacks.
Iranian officials have not released details about the extent of the damage or the results of the operation.
