Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announce missile attack on Ramat David air base

The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran announced that in response to recent Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Ramat David air base was targeted with ballistic missiles from the IRGC’s Aerospace Force.

The IRGC statement stated that this base was targeted as the origin of some of the attacks against various areas of Lebanon, including the cities of Tyre, Nabatieh, and the suburbs of Beirut.

The Revolutionary Guards also emphasized that Iran’s acceptance of the ceasefire on March 19 was conditional on a cessation of fighting on all fronts, but the US and Israel have not adhered to their commitments.

The statement claimed that the continued attacks in Lebanon, as well as attacks on Iranian ships in the Strait of Hormuz, the Sea of Oman, and the Indian Ocean, were violations of the ceasefire.

The IRGC emphasized that tonight’s missile operation served as a warning and that if attacks and aggressions were repeated, subsequent responses would be more extensive.
