Iran launches fifth wave of missile strikes on Israel

The Israeli army has announced that the fifth wave of missile attacks from Iran has been launched towards the occupied territories and that defense systems are countering these attacks.

According to news sources, several explosions were heard in the cities of Tel Aviv, Haifa, Nahariya, and Tiberias simultaneously with these attacks.

The regime’s army confirmed in an official statement that missiles were fired from Iranian soil at targets in Israel.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that Lebanon’s Hezbollah has also begun its missile attacks on northern Israel.

The Israel Radio and Television Organization reported, citing security sources, that the country will respond to Iranian missile attacks.

At the same time, the Axios news website reported, citing a senior American official, that Donald Trump has been briefed on the latest developments and escalating tensions between Iran and Israel.

According to the report, Trump said he would call Benjamin Netanyahu and ask him to refrain from further escalating the conflict.

Trump has also claimed that the parties are close to reaching an agreement and that US military forces are on standby.
