Araqchi: No tangible progress has been made in the negotiations
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi announced that despite the continued exchange of messages between Iran and the United States, no tangible progress has been made in the negotiations so far.
He emphasized that returning to the negotiating table is conditional on ensuring the rights of the Iranian people, an end to the conflicts in Lebanon, and a reduction in regional tensions.
Araqchi warned that if Israeli attacks on Beirut continue, the Iranian armed forces are ready to resume military operations and attack targets inside Israel.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also said that the country’s defense and military capabilities have been strengthened compared to before the war began and that Tehran is prepared to continue the confrontation for a long time.
He added that the Iranian ambassador will continue his activities in Lebanon and that issues related to his diplomatic status will be pursued through legal channels between the two countries.
