Ukraine’s massive drone attack on St. Petersburg prompts Russia to vow response
Russian media have reported that Ukrainian drones have targeted a large oil terminal in the city of St. Petersburg, causing a massive fire.
According to reports, more than 50 drones have attacked St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region from the Baltic countries.
The attack took place in St. Petersburg, with representatives from more than 130 countries in attendance, and attracted widespread media attention.
In response to the incident, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow is systematically responding to Ukrainian attacks and that military operations will continue to prevent attacks on Russian regions.
Official details about the extent of damage and possible casualties from the attack have not yet been released.
