Indonesian media reported that a massive fire in central Jakarta, the country’s capital, has engulfed a large part of a market and surrounding residential areas.
According to reports, the flames spread quickly and destroyed more than 200 homes.
Images released from the scene show huge columns of smoke and the central Jakarta market engulfed in flames.
Indonesian authorities have not yet released further details about the cause of the fire or the possible death toll.
