According to this report, this branch was established in 2021 at the initiative of David Barnia, and its focus has shifted from traditional operations to cyber activities, psychological warfare, and influencing public opinion.
The report claims that this sector uses a network of thousands of social media accounts to spread content and influence cyberspace.
Israel Hume has also claimed that advertising experts and social media analysts in this field monitor and analyze social trends and dissatisfaction in Iranian society.
According to the newspaper, the long-term goal of this program is to create domestic pressure and influence political developments in Iran.
