Afghanistan and Japan emphasize expanding bilateral relations
Maulvi Amir Khan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met and held talks with Japanese Ambassador Kenichi Masamoto.
In this meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on current developments in the region and the importance of developing bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Japan.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate considered Japan to have an important position in Afghan politics and appreciated the country’s continued assistance in understanding the realities of Afghanistan and its consistent support.
The Japanese ambassador also emphasized his country’s continued cooperation and assistance with Afghanistan in various sectors.
The two sides also emphasized expanding bilateral relations, strengthening coordination in the humanitarian sectors, and holding technical meetings.
