The sister of the late commander of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Izz al-Din Haddad, said in a message after the news of her brother’s martyrdom was announced: “Thanks be to God who honored us with the martyrdom of my kind, heroic and brave brother.”
He added: “By God, we do not say anything except what pleases our Lord; we belong to God and to Him we shall return.”
He also said that Abu Suhaib had spent a large part of his life, first in Israeli prisons and then in Palestinian Authority prisons.
The sister of the Al-Qassam commander emphasized: “We don’t want to say anything more, but God is enough for us.”
