Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz have claimed that “Izz al-Din Haddad,” the commander of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement in Gaza, has been assassinated.
Israeli media reported that Ezzedine Haddad was targeted and martyred following the bombing of a residential building in the Ramal area of Gaza City.
Israeli sources also claimed that a car near this building was also targeted.
The Palestinian news agency Shehab announced that four people were killed and dozens more were injured as a result of the attack.
