New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof has revealed in a new report widespread cases of violence and sexual abuse against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.
According to this report, a number of Palestinian prisoners have testified about what happened to them in detention centers, despite threats and pressure.
A Palestinian prisoner has said that he was raped three times in just one day, and the third time occurred after he protested.
A young Palestinian woman also recounted that prison guards entered her cell at the beginning of each shift, forced her to strip naked, and abused her.
