Minister of Public Works talks with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Iranian Embassy about infrastructure projects
Mullah Mohammad Issa, the second Minister of Public Works, met with Ali Reza Bekdali, the acting head of the Iranian Embassy in Kabul, and discussed bilateral economic and trade relations and infrastructure projects.
According to the Ministry of Public Works, Bekdali announced in the meeting that the construction of 42 kilometers of the second lot of the Abu Nasr Farahi Highway 78 has been completed, and the remaining 11 kilometers will be completed and put into operation within the next two months.
He added that the reconstruction of the destroyed sections of the first lot of this road will also begin in the near future.
In the end, the two sides emphasized strengthening economic relations, increasing trade, and continuing close cooperation in infrastructure projects between the two countries.
