Russia unveils ‘smart’ minesweeper robot for battlefield use
Russia has unveiled a “smart” minesweeper robot, which is currently being used in special operations zones and is designed to clear paths from minefields.
This platform, built by Russian specialists, was developed with the aim of protecting infantry forces and facilitating their advance in mine-infested areas.
According to sources, this robot is equipped with a special system on its front that can detonate anti-personnel mines and create a safe path for troops.
One of the important features of this device is its engineered weight, which is adjusted in such a way that it does not activate anti-tank mines and at the same time allows it to move in difficult environments.
This robot also operates in a light and mobile manner in areas where heavy equipment cannot enter, opening paths for infantry.
