Reports indicate that Ukrainian long-range drones have managed to target and destroy four Russian fighter jets at Shagul airfield in the Chelyabinsk region, about 1,800 kilometers from the front lines.
According to these reports, the targeted fighter jets include two Su-57s, one Su-34, and another Sukhoi jet whose identity has not been determined.
This attack was carried out deep inside Russian territory and is seen as an indication of Ukraine’s increased ability to target distant military bases.
So far, Russian officials have not officially commented on the details of this incident, but such attacks could add new dimensions to the war between the two countries.
