US Navy Secretary resigns immediately
The United States Department of War has announced that Secretary of the Navy John C. Flynn has resigned from his position with immediate effect.
Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell confirmed the news in a statement and thanked Flynn for his service to the organization.
The statement said that Minister Flynn was thanked for his services and wished him success in the future.
This development is described as one of the latest changes at the leadership level of US military institutions, and it has also been announced that Hong Kao, the Deputy Secretary of the Navy, will serve as acting secretary for this position.
