Massive wildfires in northeastern Japan displace more than 2,500 people
A massive fire in the mountainous areas of Otsuchi in Iwate Prefecture, Japan, which began yesterday, is still ongoing and has caused significant damage.
According to reports, the fire has so far destroyed more than 200 hectares of forests and caused more than 2,500 people to flee their homes.
Local authorities in Japan are trying to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further.
