Major fire breaks out at India’s refinery-petrochemical complex one day before official opening
A massive fire broke out at a huge refinery-petrochemical complex in the state of Rajasthan, a day before Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurated the facility.
According to Reuters, the complex is India’s first integrated refinery-petrochemical greenfield project, located in the small town of Pachpadra in Balotra district, and is a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum, India’s state-owned oil and gas company, and the Rajasthan government.
