Yemen’s Houthis are ready to join Iran’s war if necessary
Reuters reported that Yemen’s Houthis have announced that they are ready to open a new front in the war with Iran if necessary.
One of their main potential targets would be the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait off the coast of Yemen, a vital port that controls the route for ships to the Suez Canal.
This threat is being raised at a time when Iran has practically closed the Strait of Hormuz and is in control of it.
