Iran writes to Security Council about Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait’s actions
Amir Saeed Iravani, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations, strongly protested in separate letters to the Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council about the actions of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait to make their soil and airspace available for the US and Israel to attack Iran.
In these letters, he listed examples of the actions of these countries and emphasized that, based on the monitoring and assessments of the Iranian Armed Forces, it has been determined that the aggressors have continued to use the territory and airspace of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar to plan, prepare, equip, and carry out illegal military attacks against Iran.
In these letters, Iran stated that these actions violate the principles of good neighborliness and international law, and strongly urged these countries to observe the principles of good neighborliness and prevent the continued use of their territory against Iran.
The theses state that the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves its right to take all necessary measures, including exercising its inherent right of self-defense, to protect its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence.
