Trump enlists NATO and China to wage war against Iran

Donald Trump warned that if NATO fails to help open the Strait of Hormuz, the future of the alliance will face very serious problems.

According to the Financial Times, Trump said it was natural for countries that benefit from the Strait of Hormuz to help prevent a crisis in this vital energy route.

He has also directly called on China to play a role in keeping the Strait of Hormuz open, emphasizing that China obtains about 90 percent of its oil needs through this route.

These statements were made at a time when tensions in the Persian Gulf have reached a peak and Iran has repeatedly emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed to American ships and their allies as long as the aggression continues.
