Araqchi: Israel’s bombing of Tehran’s fuel tanks is a crime against the environment and a violation of international law

Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, strongly condemned the Zionist regime’s attack on fuel tanks in Tehran, calling it a clear violation of international law and a clear example of a crime against the environment.

He emphasized that this barbaric act has caused long-term damage to the health and well-being of citizens, and the contamination of soil and groundwater resources could have consequences that will last for generations.

Araqchi added: “The Israeli regime must be held accountable and punished for these war and environmental crimes.”
