Iran hits three strategic targets in UAE and Kuwait in response to attack on Tehran oil facilities
According to reports and satellite images, Iranian missile and drone attacks have directly hit the Fujairah oil region, the Sharjah industrial zone in the United Arab Emirates, and US logistics facilities at the Ali Al-Salem base in Kuwait.
These attacks have been described as part of a broader wave of Iranian retaliatory operations against US-linked bases and infrastructure in the Persian Gulf countries.
At the same time, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, referring to the targeting of one of the affiliated banks in the region, warned that Iran’s armed forces would take revenge for the attack on its national infrastructure.
The Revolutionary Guard had previously announced that it considers banks and financial institutions affiliated with the United States and Israel in the region to be its legitimate targets.
