Severe censorship in the occupied territories, collection of CCTV cameras to hide casualties and damage from attacks
Local sources and eyewitnesses reported that following repeated strikes by Iranian missiles and drones on sensitive targets in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Beersheba, and other cities, the Israeli regime has ordered a massive collection of CCTV cameras on roads, intersections, and residential areas.
The main goal of this measure is to prevent the recording of images of the moment of impact, the spread of fires, infrastructure damage, and especially the actual number of civilian and military casualties, which quickly find their way into Iranian media and social networks.
In some areas, the military and municipalities are directly collecting cameras, and in other cases, building and shop owners have been pressured to delete images or deactivate cameras.
This wave of censorship intensified after raw, unfiltered images of explosions and destruction in the early hours of some attacks dealt a heavy blow to the regime’s official narrative and intensified public panic.
