Thick smoke in Tehran’s Pasteur area raises alarm across Israel

Very thick smoke has risen from the Pasteur area in central Tehran, an area where the presidential office and many sensitive centers and high-ranking officials are located.

At the same time, an alarm was sounded throughout Israel, and the Israeli army described it as “a warning to prepare the public for the possibility of rockets being fired at Israel.”

The Israeli army has issued orders to close all schools and colleges, ordered citizens to work from home, and issued a complete ban on public gatherings throughout the occupied territories.

These developments are occurring at a time when tensions between Iran and Israel are at their highest level, and initial reports indicate explosions in central Tehran.
