Araqchi: Afghanistan and Pakistan should resolve differences through dialogue during Ramadan, Iran is ready to assist

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi wrote on his page X: “In the holy month of Ramadan, the month of restraint and strengthening solidarity in the Islamic world, it is appropriate for Afghanistan and Pakistan to manage and resolve existing differences within the framework of good neighborliness and through dialogue. The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to provide any assistance in facilitating dialogue and strengthening understanding and cooperation between the two countries.”

This stance comes as border tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan have reached a peak in recent days, including ground clashes, airstrikes, and reciprocal operations.

Araqchi’s statements indicate Iran’s readiness to mediate and reduce tensions between its two eastern neighbors on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan.
